Hello, my name is Martin, I’m fond of maps, books and losing my way.
Every-now-and-again, I’ll send a letter featuring a book that has a map. I’ll write about the map, the map illustrator (cartographer), the book itself and the author.

What an interesting concept...Maps in Books. So many books through the years have caught my attention because of the maps embedded into the hardback inner cover. As history has changed the maps, seeing what once was has an intriguing and educational edge that draws me in. Of course, modern maps can make the places we hear of on the news or other venues more real. I look forward to reading your work!
